Partnership Information
Thank you for your interest in partnering with mathleague.org this school year. There are many ways we can work together to promote a love of math among our constituents; we have listed a few below, and you probably have additional ideas we haven't thought of. Once you have reviewed the options below, please fill out the intake form at this link to indicate which items appeal to you. There will be space for you to suggest your own ideas as well. Once we receive the form we will work with you to finalize the details and will prepare a written agreement for both of us to sign that outlines what each of our organizations will contribute to the partnership.
- Website acknowledgment - We would like to announce our partnership on our website and have you do the same. Typically this involves placing each other's logos on our websites with a hyperlink to the partner's website.
- Trading cards - mathleague.org has developed a trading card game and distributes cards to students at certain events. We make trading cards for our partners but allow you to control the distribution of your cards. More information about our trading card system can be found at mathleague.org/cards.
- Email and social media announcement - This option would involve an announcement to our respective communities at the start of our partnership letting people know we are working together.
- Cross-promotion of events - This option would involve one or both of our organizations sending announcements to our respective communities advertising specific upcoming events.
- Information distribution at events - One or both of our organizations could send promotional materials to distribute at events held by the other.
- Souvenir distribution at events - One or both of our organizations could provide souvenirs for participants at events held by the other.
- Prizes at events - One or both of our organizations could provide prizes for competitive events held by the other.
- Guest speakers at events - One or both of our organizations could send a representative to speak or present at events held by the other.
- Use of our grading or online contest system - If your organization is a math contest, you may be interested in using our infrastructure to help grade tests from your contest. This can be done for both online and in-person contests. We also have an online contest interface that could be adapted for your contest.
- Contest qualification - If your organization is a math contest, we could explore the possibility of having students at your events qualify for our District, State, or National Championships. Conversely, if you have a test round that requires students to qualify for, we could explore the possibility of having students qualify for that round by taking our tests.
- Financial support - In certain cases it might make sense for one of our organizations to make a financial donation to the other to support their efforts, particularly if some of the items above are not feasible to implement.
