Restrictions on when tests can be released

The tests you will receive have been written for release only on the date you reserve for your contest, and if you need to change your test date for any reason you must contact us to make alternate arrangements. If a tournament must be canceled due to inclement weather, mathleague.org will provide tests and allow the organizers to host a tournament on a subsequent date agreed upon by the organizers and mathleague.org. If the original tests are used on an unauthorized make-up date, the contest will not be considered an official mathleague.org contest and participants will be ineligible to qualify for state based on those tests.

Because tests are given out at contests that occur on different dates, it is the responsibility of the site coordinator to verify with all sites that are giving out the same test number on an earlier date that there is no school that has students attending both the earlier contest and the site coordinator's contest. This rule applies to schools as entities and not just individual students, and therefore schools are precluded from Being Represented (having at least one student participate, whether or not authorized by the school or the school's coach) at two contests with the same number even if there is no single student who attends both contests. Finally, if mathleague.org suspects that contest integrity is being compromised due to this procedure, it reserves the right to place additional restrictions on when contests may be scheduled.
